It began on Knez Mihailova, Belgrade's main pedestrian street — a battery, an inverter, a printer and a laptop packed into a single case, and a photographer with nothing but a camera and an idea: stop a stranger, take one honest photograph, and hand them back a newspaper with their own face on the cover.
Ten seconds after the shutter clicks, the page is already printing. No pose is ever quite finished — people are invited to try a few more, to bring a friend into frame, to leave whatever they feel the moment was worth. There's no fixed price. There's no script. There's only the front page, and the person who earned it.
What started as one corner grew into two, then three locations along the same street — and an ongoing attempt to carry the idea across the border, to the coast of Montenegro. Lately, the same suitcase has started showing up somewhere new: weddings, birthdays, festivals — wherever a room full of people deserves to be the story for a night.
